History

National Real Estate began nearly 25 years ago as a franchise of Record Data. Through the years, it has grown to become one of the largest providers of real estate information in the country. We have also become a leader in creating affiliated business relationships (joint ventures) with various lenders and business partners.

A privately held company, National Real Estate Information Services (NREIS) took its present name in 1993 following the merger of National Real Estate Loan Services with Home Equity Information Services.

Today, NREIS offers a full range of real estate services—title, appraisal, flood, and settlement services—including all of the traditional and alternative products available in the marketplace today.

Our title insurance agency is underwritten through Stewart Title, First American Talon Group, Ticor Title, and Old Republic, giving us the backing of the largest title underwriters in the nation.

With a staff of more than 1,200 people in our corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh Pa., we bring the experience and manpower needed to succeed in our competitive industry.

Our client lists includes a wide range of national lenders, relocation companies, regional bankers, mortgage servicers, and mortgage bankers/brokers in both the prime and sub-prime segments of the industry.
